Most mornings look just like this, but even more chaotic. It’s a routine I have come far too familiar with. I typically start the day hitting the snooze button for a solid two hours. By the time I actually get up, I race around the house, feeding the animals, applying my make up, digging for something to wear, and tossing my hair into a bun. Honestly, this is pretty good for the whole 45 minutes I gave myself to complete this look. Sometimes I even forget mascara, and when you aren’t wearing eye liner, boy is it scary.
Needless to say I am far from perfect, especially in the mornings. This week I’ve tested myself by getting up when I would normally hit snooze. It’s time to make the most of my mornings. No wonder people get so much shit done bright and early. The truth is, I kind of like it. I intend to make a habit of this, giving myself enough time to start the day with a positive outlook, and a full (and awake) heart.
