In my opinion, good boots are an investment piece. I do believe that there are some boots worth splurging on, and some worth saving on. I’ve rounded up three of my favorite boot styles for fall and winter using an array of brands and price points. I’ve got boots from Walmart, DSW and Nordstrom, so you get the full spectrum of styles. This season you will see a lot of embellished boots, colorful boots, and animal print boots. I am loving the lace up trend, and I’ve included a few of my favorites below.
Outfit Envy: Winter Wear
The Look I’m Loving
Winter’s Best Faux Fur & Florals
It’s unavoidable; we all occasionally get a case of “outfit envy”. So why not embrace it and find that lust-worthy outfit at a phenomenal price? I’ve always claimed to be a good bargain hunter, but I think I’m even better at finding inexpensive pieces and making them look pretty pricy. It’s honestly rather easy to do. I always have one staple, higher priced piece (hint hint: Kate Spade Bag), and then I style my outfit based on the occasion and my current mood. Below, I imagine this vest-wearing gal to be headed out for a casual holiday gathering with friends. She can wear each of these pieces a million different ways, and she can definitely swap her jeans for a skirt. Just like that, she has an evening holiday look.
