Sunday evening, Calypso Boutique of Lexington celebrated their 5th birthday. To do this landmark birthday justice, Calypso held their very first fashion show. Owner Ann-Michael was applauded for her outstanding work and accomplishments over the past five years, and a large crowd of fashion gurus, friends, and community members joined to celebrate with her as Calypso owned the evening and runway.
The event hosted at Tin Roof Lexington was directed by Maui Crane, and featured fabulous hair designs by Hair Razors and Fleet Street Hair Shoppe. The evening capped off with the band Shemale Fiesta. I can’t forget to mention the show’s photographer Zach Brake who captured the wonderful night and graciously provided me with the pics below.
Alongside my Mom and amazing friend Danon Camic, we had a blast at the event. I want to wish Ann-Michael and team all the best in the years to come. (Never forget the importance of local shopping, and small business shopping!!) The fashion show exemplified and showcased the original pieces and designs that make Calypso what it is today. They want to know you, your style, and service YOU the best way they can. “Every item in the store is handpicked with love.” – Calypso Boutique
