Before The Night Begins

Let’s style our evening-out just right!

For a typical Wednesday night out in the city, all you need are your wardrobe basics. Your week night look shouldn’t be overdone, it should be simply stated. I would consider a classic shape with simple accents before getting dressed. Normally for me this would include my leather jacket, a simple blouse, a dark denim, and a cute shoe or bootie. I will typically throw on a printed scarf, and complimentary jewelry too. Layers always help an outfit look even more polished in NYC.

Below, I’ve put my own spin on the comfortable leather jacket and incorporated a few accents that make the outfit stand out at dusk. In particular, I adore this deep blue accent ring by Berricle and my cut-out black booties from DSW, of course. This Kate Middleton-esq ring is one of my favorites for a night out. The midnight blue shade is the perfect compliment to my typical-black wardrobe.
