All About Styling Your Oversized Sweaters! 

Say HELLO (again) to the oversized sweater! Just this time last year, I wrote a post about the big sweater trend, and it seems nothing has changed in the last 365 plus days. In fact, last year’s post has been one of the TOP viewed LWW posts of all time. So I’m back to share my words of wisdom for rocking this fabulous fall/winter trend. “Nothing sounds more delightful than an oversized, comfy, cozy, and casual knit sweater. So comfy, and so big you could curl up inside some of these treasured looks. Okay, not that big, but you get the point. The slouchier, the better.

Whether it be a chunky knit, a mock turtle neck, a cardigan, or a feminine shrug, I am loving it all and wanting it all this winter. I know you have seen the big sweater over skinny jeans with ankle boots look on Pinterest. I’ve seen it more than a dozen times and I still crave every single one of those classic cable knits that are pinned, repinned, and pinned again atleast a zillion times.

Sweaters are one of the major players of this season and they are more than desireable because of their functionable wear and versatility. You can layer your crewneck sweaters with a collared shirt for the office or layer under a playful jacket with skinny jeans and booties for the weekend. You get bonus points in my book if you can pull off the chunky sweater + skirt look (also seen on Pinterest).” – LWW
