As I’m heading back to NYC today from the great state of KY, I thought why not show a little casual-cool style for those super hot and hectic days. We all have them, let’s face it! Some days our attire suits our mood, and this is just one of those outfits. A fedora is fitting for any occasion if you ask me, but a good pair of casual shorts and a blousy tank go a long way when comfort is the motive.

This basic look is easily achievable and obviously affordable. Old Navy makes hands-down the best shorts I own. They last me several seasons, and the fit is just right. When thinking about a casual top, go for what you like and feel good in. Some prefer a more fitted blouse, while I prefer a loose style. Go for a tucked-in look and you have yourself an everyday combo you’ll love.
