An Afternoon Atop The City 

Polka Dots are the most fun print for daytime. Why? You can style them with any color combo and they play nicely with other prints. Today I’ve paired the B&W dots with my burgundy cigarette pants and oversized jacket. I styled this dotted-top with minimal accessories and only one pop of color, because the dots were the main focus. The texture of the blouse with the jacket is the perfect mix — remember don’t overwhelm the eye when mixing your prints. A simple black flat finishes off the outfit. You could of course swap out the flats with a statement heel, but comfort is key for daytime in the city. With inspiration from the likes of Twiggy to Ashley Olsen, I just can’t resist the classic allure of a polka dot. Enjoy!
