This vibrant shade of green has become a recent favorite of mine helping to brighten up my typical, all-black wardrobe. Kelly green may be known as a summer color, but I’ll be carrying this silk piece into the fall with a few wardrobe basics.

If you follow Lex What Wear on Instagram, you know that yesterday I wore this blouse to the office (with a cup of coffee in hand). Today I’m showing you a casual approach to my green dots and peplum top with a structured basic, and a relaxed denim.

You can easily toss on a pair of black trousers or long dark denim as the weather transitions. Or feel like spicing up the outfit? Try a pair of fun wedges or ankle boots for fall. The key is to keep your ensemble in proportion. With peplum, cinch your waistline and give your booty a little structure with fitting shorts, pants, etc.
