Fall 2012 hair trends welcome everything from a modern bang to a sleek ponytail. As New York Fashion Week has come and gone until next season, we must recognize the hair trends that graced the runways as well as the fashion and styling.
This fall we will find it more easy then ever to re-create the runway looks in real life. Let’s just say, these inspirations are actually achievable. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out these do’s…just a little practice, that’s all.
Ponytails and up-dos are “IT” this season (= music to my ears). High or low, straight or curled, they are making a statement. In fashion terms, “If you’ve got it, flaunt it.” Whether it be a bun, bangs, a braid, or twists, it is perfectly fine to be imperfect when it comes to hair. Play with your locks and learn some creative ways to make a new look for yourself.
One of my favorite tricks is to pull all my hair back into a pony and pin the ends, making a messy bun in about 5 minutes flat. It’s easy and spruces up my daytime look, and I am no hairstylist. Here are a few of my favorite looks from the runway that look easy for anyone to try.
