Farm Themed First Birthday

I promised you all that I would share some pictures and inspiration from Mac’s first birthday. This *Farm Themed First Birthday* turned out better than I could have imagined. Although we had to un-invite our entire guest list and dodge thunderstorms all day, it was perfect to Mac, and that’s all that matters.

I sought out some inspiration from Pinterest (see below), and automatically knew I didn’t want to do the typical “farm theme”. We had always planned to host the birthday party at the family farm, so a farm theme seemed fitting. I just wanted to be very intentional with how it was decorated and coordinated, so that I didn’t have a cliche farm experience.

The classic, old school farm theme I used turned out so cute and subtle. I thought it was the perfect combination of a few of my favorite things. I wish more than anything we could have had guests there to see it in person, but pictures and a quick video did the trick.
