We’re only one day away from fireworks, friends, family, and parties! If you’re much like me you’re probably rummaging through your closet and drawers to find the perfect 4th of July fashion ensemble. Don’t get ahead of yourself, I’m sure you have some sort of red, white, or blue hidden away in your wardrobe. But let’s get to the real talk folks: you don’t have to dress like the American flag to celebrate the 4th of July! It’s more about incorporating the festive nature of the celebration into your outfit. In other words, attend the party, don’t wear the party. Below I’m sharing my tips and tricks for styling those patriotic colors in a flattering and trendy way.

DRESSY: If you’re leaning more towards a dressy look then a maxi dress is your absolute best friend. It’s comfortable, but looks tasteful and streamlined for a more fancy occasion.
