It’s My One-Year Anniversary In NYC

So, that calls for leather, fur and all things FAB!

I remember it like it was yesterday; exactly 365 days ago I packed my life into a few suitcases and headed for New York City. On the way to the airport, I remember telling Jason, “pull the car over please, please, please.” I was absolutely terrified of leaving home, him, my mom, my family and friends. By the time we reached the airport, Jason had denied all requests to turn the car around (thankfully). I was a puddle of tears, but I soon sucked it up and faced the reality I had chosen. With a few quick hugs, I headed north, unsure of what the future had in store.

I can’t believe a year has come and gone, but I’m certain it’s a sign that the best is yet to come. I plan to tackle this city one more year, and couldn’t be happier. Some didn’t think I’d make it long in NYC, and some knew I was meant for this place. Either way you look at it, I have nothing to prove or to looe. I’m city girl for the “moment” and through the ups and downs I plan to make the absolute most of it. Besides, who knows what’s up my sleeve next… CHEERS!
