Taking Off In The New Year

The “flight jacket” has taken a new spin into the new year, making a departure from its origins in the military. The  uniform garment has evolved into a wardrobe staple with flattering silhouettes, high-end fabrics, intriguing prints and modern design techniques. Like my floral piece the trending jacket can be worn with a simple boyfriend jean, or it can be dolled up with leather shorts/skirt for an evening affair. Originally bought for the Lucky FABB Fashion Blog Conference, this ZARA collection jacket is a new favorite of mine for weekend and after-work play.
