Today Lex What Wear is turning up the heat and spreading the LOVE! Insert the “oohs” and “awwws” here. I’ve got my NYC Valentine’s look, a few hints for Cupid, and my very own RED HOT style board for Discover Pique. P.S. – I must mention that I am overcome with excitement because my Valentine is headed north for his first trip to NYC. (Safe travels Jason!!)
Got the V-day Blues?
Valentines Day…. shmalentines day… I’m sure some would rather be binge eating their singleness away with double fudge brownies, or cursing all the girls who just had to put a pic of their flowers from the “greatest man on earth” on Facebook. But I say we can all still celebrate Valentine’s Day in STYLE.
If it were up to me,this holiday would be dedicated to loving yourself, and the ones surrounding you. I’m not even opposed to buying your own flowers. This V-day should be all about you!! (Can I get an AMEN?!?)
Valentine’s Outfit: Forever 21 Blouse, H&M Pants, Nine West Pumps, Golden Stella Necklace.
You can’t hide it… most women browse the web to find that perfect Valentine’s gift for their significant other to purchase. If you don’t do this then I commend you. Typically, when it comes to Valentine’s Day, I like to keep it simple and as close to a normal day as possible. But I’m also one of those who thinks every day should be an, “I love you” kind-0f day.
Recently, I just so happened to find a new jewelry obsession. I could NOT do a Valentine’s Day post without including these four little guys that I think are such charmers. Each from TOUS, these items are a subtle way to show a little extra lovin’…
I also could NOT do a Valentine’s Day post without showing off my Discover Pique Valentine’s style board. Have I mentioned that Pique has some smokin-hot V-day gifts? Um, I think you just need to check it out for yourselves. (Ohhh la la)
I think that’s all the lovey-dovey I’ve got in me for the day, so enjoy y’all! I’ll be back tomorrow with more coverage of New York Fashion Week. Don’t forget to check out my column on KyForward too!
