Lela Ray Jewelry, designed by the uber-talented Lindsay Combs, has hit the Lexington – and hopefully beyond – jewelry market and is leaving a lasting impression, including on me — I’ll take that wing bracelet Lindsay! Lela Ray gets its name from Lindsay’s late grandmother, and the new designs draw inspiration from vintage pieces found anywhere and everywhere, including antique galleries and estate sales.

“I use a lot of vintage pieces that I destroy and then put back together in a new creative way.  I also love using many antique and vintage buttons- especially military buttons,” Lindsay said. 

Lindsay’s favorite pieces include old costume jewelry from the late Hollywood actress Mae West. (Great source of inspiration if you ask me!)
