Happy Election Day! I hope you’re all planning to vote (if you haven’t already!). Your vote is your voice y’all, so let it be heard!
That said, I know voting has nothing to do with jackets and jeans, but when politics take center stage, I’m determined to turn to a lighter subject: fall/winter essentials for the wardrobe. Yes, I still think about fashion on Election Day and every other day of the year.
When your dress depends on the weather, fashion is at the forefront of the day. Wrapping up for seasonal cool mornings and nights like we have in Kentucky is made easy with a good, wear-everyday jacket. Fall layers, especially jackets are the starting point for any solid fall/winter wardrobe, and we’re seeing plenty of trends that work for all outdoor activity, from office commutes to a night out on the town with the gals.
This outfit is one that I love for fall/winter. It’s super easy, cost friendly, and versatile. For those of you reading today, I will also encourage you to purchase a few good jackets for the winter season ahead. You don’t have to splurge, your goal is a good fit. My tip: skim the racks at TJ Maxx. They know their jackets!
