DREAM. BELIEVE. CREATE
I’ve often talked about chasing dreams and chasing them so hard that your life is forever changed. There is so much power in the imagination of a dream and when you go for it, the risk is worth the reward. Lately I’ve been convinced that someone has been spiking my morning coffee, because my day dreams are so rich and exciting. Ultimately, whether my day dreams are worthy of pursuing or not, the discovery of these little dreams create a much bigger picture for my life. And like they say, “Don’t EVER quit your day dream.” It’s incredibly truthful, this statement. Your day dreams give you a reason and a purpose. They allow for a plan and goal setting. They call for you to believe in yourself and they let you create something so beautiful. So how do you manifest your day dream? I am not sure there is one specific or right answer to this question, but I believe there are processes that encourage manifestation. Today, I’ll share my personal process with all of you, and I hope that it uplifts and motivates you to pursue all of your day dreams!
STEP 1: DREAM
Often we call our dreams foolish or outlandish, but are they really? If you have a dream that you’re still thinking about, it’s worth the risk of seeing all of it’s possibilities. Dreaming is really the beginning phase of actually manifesting your day dream. The dream is the foundation for which you believe and create from.
When I was a little girl I wanted to be a vet. I dreamed of being around animals all day. I wasn’t so sure I wanted to see all of the sad or hard parts of the job, but I knew I wanted to make animals and their humans happy. Sometimes I still think about this. I think of ways I can be a vet, but I get distracted with how it would fit into my life now. Because I don’t have the schooling or training, I’ve found ways to enjoy the aspects of being a vet that I love without actually having to be a vet.
You see, dreams don’t have to be as big as wanting to be The President or a World famous rockstar. Your dreams can be any size. Most of you would have never know this dream I had if I hadn’t just shared it. It sometimes seems silly that I still think about it. But it’s a dream, and pursuing it in the tiniest way makes me happy. Don’t quit on your dreams; they aren’t quitting on you.
YOU ARE ALLOWED ANY DREAM YOU WANT!
2. BELIEVE
Believing in your dreams is almost as important as dreaming. If you don’t believe in your own dreams, nobody will. How are you going to make something of a dream you do not believe in? Your second job in the whole process of manifestation is understanding your dream, and believing it with all you have.
I once had a dream that I should do something that positively impacts the lives of young girls. There are so many pressures when it comes to being a young lady, most of which are expectations that we as a society have set. Whether we intend for these expectations to promote positive lifestyles for teenagers, reality shows that this isn’t always the case. I dream of making an impact that teaches young girls to love themselves confidently as they are.
I haven’t quite figured out when or how I will follow this dream and create it, but I am 100 percent confident that I believe in it. I know I can find a way, in my own way, to manifest this dream. With prayer and a lot of research I think I believe I can conquer this dream.
3. CREATE
Take what you’ve learned from the process of dreaming up your dream and believing it, and put this thing into motion. Begin your research and be an expert on the subject of your dream. You want to know every single aspect of how to create and bring your dream to life. I often recommend a vision board. If you don’t have a big enough space or if you don’t want to spend money, I’ve shared a DIY vision board HERE. Plus, get a few more ideas HERE and HERE. You can also create a pitch list of all of the most important people connected to your dream that you should pitch or network with. Networking is essential in almost every aspect of life. Creating your dream is ultimately up to you and can only be defined as successful by your own scale of judgement. If you’re like me, you are going to do it big. I believe dreams that make it to this point in the process are worth exploring. Give it a shot and see where you land.
