This past weekend, Zappos was in town for their “Friends With Benefits Road Show”. The event took place right in Midtown, embracing the true Nashville spirit. From local music to a one-of-a-kind porta “party”, the event was hopping from the minute it opened until the sun went down. Grilled Cheeserie was there serving up the yummiest treats, and let’s not forget the pets. On Saturday and Sunday the road show offered FREE pet adoption from local animal rescues. I got to meet several sweethearts, but Candy definitely stole all of my attention. We played, snuggled a bit, and absolutely took a few selfies.

The “Friends With Benefits Road Show” is all about reaching their customers on a more personal note, connecting with them, and thanking them for their loyalty to Zappos. This event also advocates for giving back to the community. There were several drop off buckets for a local charity as well as the pet adoption. As I mentioned in my first post, this aspect of the event pulled at my heartstrings and gave me even more reason to celebrate with the Zappos crew.

I have firsthand witnessed the benefits of signing up, and I praise their customer service for a job well done, every time I shop. Zappos has the fastest shipping of any retailer I know, plus it’s free. They offer a 365-day return policy and a 24-hour customer service team. Free returns don’t hurt either. I can’t name one person who doesn’t like the sounds of that.
Most recently I went on shopping binge for a few of my favorite shoe trends for spring. Using my Rewards Membership I picked up three pairs of shoes I will not be able to live without. I knew I had to find a little black slide. For under $100, I found the perfect pair. The slide trend is everywhere right now, which is why I didn’t stop at the black pair. I also found an embroidered, velvet pair for under $100 and they were worth every penny. I have worn this printed pair of slides everywhere since I got them. Last, but definitely not least, I scored an easy sandal with embellishment. I needed to add a little spice to my sandal collection, and this pair does the trick.
