From the Max & Chloe earrings to the Topshop leather skater skirt, I love this outfit combo from head to toe. No it may not be the most fancy/classic ensemble, but it definitely reads New York chic with a touch of rock-n-roll. I’ve been loving these booties lately with anything from leather vests to denim cut-offs. So when feeling slightly edgy, these ankle boots made perfect sense.

With a pop of summer color in the pink and yellow tear drop earrings, this monochrome based outfit takes on a fun color pallet making it the perfect post for sharing with Lex What Wear readers. Not only is this look affordable, but it’s versatile too. This top can be paired with a number of bottoms (leggings, shorts, maxi skirts, etc.) and this skirt would look ah-mazing with a denim blouse.  Added bonus… no matter your shape or size, an outfit like this is a great purchase. The fit of a skater skirt can give you an amazing shape, and a boyfriend, graphic tee can be a great layering piece for blazers with structure.
