Over the past year I have had several opportunities to get involved with fashion-focused organizations, outfit collaborations and fabulous events. Each experience proven to be a little different than the other, but always well worth it. Every moment has served as a learning experience and a chance to grow my network of bloggers, mentors and friends.
However if there is one group or experience that stands out, it would be SBS: The Southern Blog Society. Even after I packed my things and moved to NYC, this group of wonderful bloggers sought out to include me in every little detail. Truth be told, it feels amazing to be considered “southern,” and that’s where my heart is.
Yesterday, founders Cathy Anderson of Poor Little It Girl and Jessica Camerata of My Style Vita launched a brand NEW SBS site! So I wanted to dedicate today’s post to the hard work and dedication it has taken to launch The Southern Blog Society, and to also acknowledge the growth and success over the previous months.
If you didn’t know already about SBS, the sole mission behind this society is to create an inclusive online community for lifestyle bloggers across the Southeastern United States. SBS aspires to create a community that transcends state lines and gives food, fashion and other miscellaneous lifestyle bloggers the tools necessary to succeed in the blogosphere today.
