Layered up in winter’s favorites: sequins, stripes & quite a few snow flakes!

Breaking Weather News: Snow flakes have taken over NYC! Finally the winter-weather storm hit the big city, causing the best New York City snow I’ve seen yet. Considering it’s only my first true winter here, I’m sure this doesn’t hold a candle to the weather we’ll see later this season. But for now, I’m enjoying what’s left of the first snow.

A quick photo-op of course had to happen as snow began to fall. The first thing that came to mind when styling a snow-appropriate outfit was winter-white. Surely you know I won’t be wearing these heels in this weather, but playing dress up sure made for fun. I took my new winter-white ,sequin blouse and paired it with a fuzzy, stripe sweater. To accessorize, I brought in a hint of blue (for the BBN of course) and a new sparkly necklace. A dark, slimming denim capped off with a classic black pump make this black and white ensemble sparkle in the snow!
