Old & New Pieces
For Any Wardrobe
Today’s post features many NEW wardrobe favorites, as well as a few NEW lessons I’ve learned or reapplied to my life. I hope that all of you can take something away from this post, (that’s the point right?) and apply it to your own wardrobe/life.
To start, I’ve had this oversized Old Navy sweater for about 5 years now, and it finally has made a comeback. When you get the feeling that something in your wardrobe will have meaning again one day, you are probably right. Put it away for another day (in the future). → There are definitely things worth holding onto. Don’t forget that!
Second, I’ve known about the bracelet “stacking” trend for several seasons. However, I am a very minimal jewelry person, and I know many of you can relate to this. I always see cute ways to stack and wear bangles of all kinds, but for a girl on the move it always seems to get in my way.
Long story short, when I found out two of my sorority sisters were making the cutest, easy to stack bangles, I knew I had to give their pieces a try. The best part is, I always feel fun and girly when I wear my Fancy Flamingo bracelets, and they never get in the way of my life on the go. If you’re like me, try these bracelets HERE. → We can all be trendy in our own way.
Lastly, I’ve always been a firm believer in reinventing pieces in your wardrobe to get the most bang for your buck. When I heard about this handbag company, MICHE, I realized their brand was perfectly in tune with this fashion mantra. Although I have styled one of their products totally different than intended, (see below) their stuff is genius. Take a look HERE. → “Creativity is intelligence having fun.” – Albert Einstein
That’s all for now! xx
