I’ve been attending baseball games nearly all my life and consequentially it is my absolute favorite sport (besides cheerleading — yes I said it). Sunday night I got the chance to visit Yankee Stadium with two of my best friends and I think I can say that it was hands down one of the BEST experiences of my life. Not because I’m a Yankees fan or a Boston fan, but because I got to witness a game I love with great friends in my new city. Yes I wore a Boston hat… go ahead and hate y’all! Everyone knows my heart is with the REDS and my beloved Joey Votto. (Joey if you’re reading… you know I’m your girl, sorry Jason!!)

The stadium was packed and the atmosphere was insane. I filled my phone with all kinds of pictures from the game, the downpour of rain in the 5th inning, and all the fun we had meeting new folks huddled underneath a hot dog stand. But the true reason I wanted to share these specific photos is for all the gals out there confused about what to wear to the stadium. It’s simple and relaxed, but here’s my 2 MAIN RULES:

1. Check the Weather

Wear something comfortable, cool, and casual depending on the weather. YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE MISERABLE ladies.

2. Think Cute… Not Sexy

It’s a ball game friends so skip the short skirts and crop tops, and throw on a cute tank or blouse. My tip: you should wear a top that shows who you’re rooting for. I love loose tanks paired with shorts as well as a casual tee and colored denim. If it’s hot out, wear a hat, because everyone looks cute in ball cap.
