OK, so many of you already know that Alex had an emergency appendectomy Tuesday and, to say the least, she’s been a little out of commission. So much so that, first, her brother Brad came to be with her and, then, I came out of the Smoky Mountains to fly to NYC to take over. Her Dad is arriving Thursday … so the forces are with her and things are looking up.

Obviously, the blog has had to take a back seat, so we’re all asking on Alex’s behalf to be patient and check back in a couple of days for blog updates. She will be back soon!

In the meantime, here are a couple of hospital fashion photos …. don’t get any ideas. Alex is definitely NOT recommending this as the latest trend.
