“It’s not what we say about our blessings, but how we use them is the true measure of our Thanksgiving.”
So I know I am not an interior decorator, and most of those who know me would never compare me to Martha Stewart. But I’m feeling a little in the holiday spirit. So for my own knowledge and inspiration I am using Thanksgiving Eve to bring you a little different take on style – holiday table style.
Maybe you still attend your grandmother’s annual Thanksgiving and have just graduated from the kids table, or maybe this is your first do-it-yourself Thanksgiving with your brand new in-laws. Hate to say it, but the pressure is on. The thought of impressing a dozen other people not only with my food, but with decorations and set-up is enough to make me slightly crazy.
So once again, it’s Pinterest to the rescue. Lucky for me, my mom has Thanksgiving Day down like a champ, but for us new-comers, I hope this helps. Whether you are more formal or laid back, be creative with your table toppers. The more personable you make it, the more they are likely to forgive your food.
Happy Thanksgiving y’all!
