On Friday I blogged about all kinds of hairstyles, from the runway to real life, including updos, hair accessories and anticipated ponytail trends for fall. This weekend, hair was still weighing heavily on my brain…
I had the pleasure of helping friend Kirsten Kramer and her bridesmaids prepare for her big day. The girls were fabulous, and the bride was absolutely stunning! Alongside a professional hairdresser, we created some pretty marvelous looks for Kirsten’s bridesmaids.
The clock was ticking faster than expected Saturday morning, but I managed to snap a few photos of some of the girls before they rushed out of the door for the wedding festivities (see below). My focus was to create natural looks to complement the strapless navy bridesmaid dresses (full-length and gorgeous, might I add).
I seek hair inspiration from fellow bloggers a majority of the time: Pink Lou Lou and The Small Things Blog among them. But for the most part, I’m a girl who just wings it when working with hair. As I’ve said before, it’s perfectly fine to look imperfect when it comes to hair – the more natural the better.
Enjoy, and congrats to Kirsten & Andrew! (The happy couple ↓↓↓)
