GREECE PHOTO DIARY NO. 3
Last but certainly not least, we’re looking at two of my favorite places on the trip: Sifnos & Athens. Sifnos is a quiet and quaint island about 40 minutes by boat from Antiparos. It’s mad up of lush and beautiful lands and the bluest seas. From the traditional greek food to rose wines right on the beach, the scenery photos speak for themselves. Sifnos is definitely an island I recommend to anyone traveling to Greece anytime soon. It’s breathtaking. My last note on Sifnos is that I learned to snorkel here. It was a major moment for me, as I jumped into the sea for the first time and had the opportunity to see some of the most gorgeous waters I have ever laid my eyes on. Needless to say, this was a life changing kind-of moment for myself.
Onto Athens, the city where I spent my first day and my last night. Despite recent media attention Athens was quite peaceful yet very busy. Everyone was friendly and moving about life like everything was normal and pretty darn perfect. Most of you read my story about Uncle Louie (pictured above). If you haven’t had a chance to read it yet, check out my Instagram HERE. On my last night of the trip, I was fortunate enough to stay at the Grande Bretagne, which overlooks the Acropolis and the Parliament. You can tell from the pictures, that this was the most lovely hotel I have ever stayed in. From the rooftop bar, I was able to enjoy a glass of wine by myself and steal a one of a kind look at two historical and very important places in Greece. Super, super cool!
Well that will about do it for all of my Greece pics. I know I’ve overwhelmed myself even with so many scenery pictures, so I will spare you all any more. I hope for all of you that you can see all of the beauty that Greece has to offer one day. Now for me; onto the next adventure. Let’s see where I go next!
