Who What Wear has such a cute collection that they designed specifically for Target this year, and I decided to put my spin on their pieces for Nashville Fashion Week. This look was the first outfit I chose for Tuesday night’s show featuring local Nashville designers. It’s been a bit chilly here, so I picked this light leather jacket to pair with a tea-length dress, both from the Who What Wear for Target line.
I just couldn’t bear the thought of open toed shoes for the night, so I thought I would add a pop of color to the black and white look by adding a wine colored-heel. This shoe is a particular favorite of mine, so I plan to wear them as long as I can before Summer officially starts.
I’ve also fully embraced the comeback of the choker necklace. I scored this silver charm choker for $5! I’ve said this before, but when it comes to trendy items, I don’t like to invest too much. I want to pick pieces that I like and that are trendy, but since I don’t know the longevity of the trend, I don’t want to spend too much. This light choker was a perfect contrast to my structured look.
A pink lip with wine undertones was the best choice to cap off the look. I kept my normal makeup routine for this look – but darkened up the eye liner just a tad! Yes, I still use MAC Fluidline in blacktrack for my eyes!
