6 Ways To Wear Spring Pastels
Pastel colors are some of my absolute favorite colors to wear, especially when Spring rolls around. The color combo I’m wearing today brings a few different pastels together, and I’m actually loving the outcome. This almost, mint-green pastel is totally different than anything I’ve owned or worn before, but when it’s next to a light blush color, I’m in love. The other girls look stunning in their pastels, and I love their outfit choices. Be sure to show them some love – I’ve linked all of their posts today for y’all above.
I decided to skip a dress or a skirt and go with an every day look, because pastels can be worn for any occasion. I used to believe (not sure why) that pastels were only for two things: accessories and dresses, or dressier occasions. This look proves that you can easily pair your light pastels with a dark wash denim and a natural sandal for a casual occasion. I could also throw on a pair of black ankle pants and wear this outfit for my 9-5.
Pastels are meant to be fun, so when you’re styling them think of what makes you feel good and comfortable, and wear them for those reasons. Lastly, don’t be afraid of color, and all kinds of color. Be open to trying new things and do it confidently!
XO, Alex
