When the summer wedding season is over and the autumn chill has started to creep in, what on Earth do you wear to a fall/winter wedding? More so, what is acceptable to wear to a wedding at this time of year? Pants? Skirts? Who knows really…
I feel like it is such a commonly asked question, because the time of year is so unpredictable. In all honesty, I keep my packing list similar to that of a summer wedding, but my most important advice is to be flexible and have options. Nothing is worse than having too few options, and pieces that simply don’t layer well.
Above, I’ve listed out 7 key pieces for a fall/winter wedding. There is rarely an occasion I don’t suggest a perfect lipstick or a comfortable heel. But for this weather-sensitive topic, we all must know to pack a pair of tights and maybe even a flask (if you know what I mean). An easy to layer dress, simply means one that can be worn with or without tights, with or without a jacket, scarf, sweater, etc. Depending on the ceremony and wedding venue, I even believe a skirt and jacket combination are perfect. Again, as long as it layers nicely, you are good to go girls.
So check this out below; I’m sharing my most recent wedding outfit with my groomsman/date and a few other options by one of my favorite brands, KENSIE. Hopefully for the next fall/winter wedding, you’ll have a few ideas already started before the packing process begins. xx
