Makeup + Technology
Equals A Winning Combination
Finally, I am so thrilled to announce my partnership with HP and Meghan Trainor. Today I’m sharing my search for the top 4 February makeup tips using my brand NEW 4-mode HP x360. This awesome HP gadget is just as cool as it sounds. Not only does it serve as a laptop, but it also functions as a tablet, tent and stand.
The 4 modes of the HP x360 not only allow for more functional use (I can use this anywhere I travel), but it makes blogging look and feel so incredibly easy. Everything I need to research is only a click or a touch away. As you can see below, I’m already “pinning” and surfing the web for my February makeup tips.
If HP wasn’t already doing it all, now they’ve added Meghan Trainor and her entire U.S. tour to their list of credentials. HP has joined forces with this pop singer and fashion guru to bring a behind-the-scenes look as Meghan travels nearly everywhere, from Vancouver to Nashville on her “That Bass Tour.” Thanks to HP & The Lips Are Movin’ crew, you’ll see a little bit of it all, including hair and makeup and choreography. The collaboration will also reach out to the fans, through a fan-generated documentary. So get your vines, YouTubes, and Instagrams ready for Meghan’s tour.
And without further delay, here’s a look at my list of February makeup tips, along with my brand-spankin’-new HP x360. I hope you are just as excited as I am for all of the fun and new things ahead for HP + Meghan Trainor on LWW!

1. The Daytime Smoky Eye
I’ve been trying to perfect the smoky eye for several seasons now. However, I can’t ever seem to find a smoky eye that suits my daytime and my evening look. Since most days don’t allow for a wardrobe change or a makeup spruce up, I’ve finally found a few options that have just the right touch. I’ve linked her to Option 1 & Option 2.
2. The Navy Accent
For spring 2015, navy is hands down the NEW black. I’ve decided to find a way to incorporate navy into my wardrobe and my makeup regimen. I’ve been trying a navy eye liner to create a subtle pop of color, just above the upper lash line. I’ve linked to my favorite eye liner HERE. I seriously have this in every color it is offered!
3. The Perfect Red Lip
Trying to find the perfect red lipstick is not as easy as it sounds. I suggest trying out red lipsticks just as you would try on a pair of jeans. It needs to be the right fit for your skin tone, your personality and your look as a whole. Don’t be afraid to invest in a good lip color. Linked HERE is my favorite red lip tutorial for spring.
4. The Complete Contour
After Lauren Conrad put out her contouring tutorial, I became even more obsessed with exactly how this structured makeup look is achieved. I’ve been searching for the perfect videos and I’ve finally found a step-by-step photo guide that I love. Try it out HERE.
