Nothing says sleek sophisticated style like a shift dress. The shape is classic, and when styled correctly it can provide an effortless look that will take you only minutes to put together. My first tip to pulling off a shift dress is to find an accent color that makes the whole outfit pop. In this case I chose bold shades of red and accents of gold with my jewelry. With a little dash of color, your outfit has pizazz. My second tip is to make sure the dress fits. You don’t want to style a dress that’s either too big or too small. Sizing issues can create a big problem when wearing a boxy-shaped dress. Lastly, I always recommend pairing some sort of heel with a shift dress. Even if it’s a kitten heel, your body will look longer and leaner. Enjoy!
