Instagram Catch Up 7.23.20

While I haven’t been as busy on the blog the last week or so, I’ve been pretty busy over on Instagram. If you aren’t following along, tap HERE to follow me @Lexwhatwear.

I thought it was time to catch you guys up on all things IG and what’s been popular with my followers there. Click the below images to shop each look! Happy Thursday friends.

We took Mac to my dad’s lake house for his first trip to Kentucky Lake. He had a blast playing with his cousins, Ford & Jack, as well as being on the boat with his Pops.

The “boys” at Pop’s lake house. They weren’t quite ready to leave each other. I love how much love they have for one another already. Both older boys were wonderful with Mac!

Being at the lake was the perfect escape from reality. Even if it was for just a couple of days, it was much needed. I wore my new sun hat / visor for the first time, and I absolutely love this purchase. I will definitely be adding the other colors to my cart.

I feel like right now is the perfect time to keep it extremely real and raw on all platforms, especially Instagram. We are living in such an interesting time, and I feel like the highlight reels displayed on IG can often contribute to the negativity others feel during this season of life. I’m trying to spread a message of positivity, kindness, and grace.

Is it time for wine yet? Seriously, this summer has been all about a good glass of white wine, or a hard seltzer. Yes, I’ve become a hard seltzer girl this summer. I’ve been sharing a new brand of hard seltzer on Instagram called VIVE and I absolutely love their flavors.

I’ve been outfit repeating and recreating A LOT during quarantine. I’ve been practicing saving more and spending less, so reinventing my wardrobe has been fun and challenging all at the same time. Also, when I posted this post on Instagram, I realized how THANKFUL I am that quarantine has been during spring and summer so far. It would be so much harder (on me) if this was happening during cold, winter months.

THE END… until next time

xo, Alex
