Rain, rain go away! The weather in NYC has been quite drab here lately.. but I thought why not get out a few of my old rainy-day pieces to brighten up the blog (since it’s not so bright outside).

I adore this jacket because of its versatility and durability (for rainy days of course). The kicker… it was under $40. Plus, when I’m not wearing my Hunter rain boots, these booties get me everywhere, rain or shine. I’m also a huge fan of earthy/neutral tones, especially before the neons and pastels of spring take over the blog.

My thought here: on a gloomy day, dress not so gloomy. Wear a print, or something fun underneath your essentials. You’d be surprised at how your ensemble can change the mood of your day.
