A few days of no work = plenty of time to venture out and see the city. It’s an added bonus when mild temps are on the radar, so I hit the streets eager to learn my way around Manhattan (I’m still learning my way around by the way). I snapped a few pics on my 3.6 mile walk, and I figured I might as well show what I wore for my afternoon stroll.
In NYC, a stroll is not necessarily casual. It’s fast-paced and quite noisy (insert taxi cab honking here), so your best bet is to have your walking boots ready! I also like to think that as you walk on the streets of NYC you can literally find any and every kind of fashion imaginable. This place is the capital of style-infused inspiration.
Every day has been a true learning experience. Whether or not boots and denim vests (like I am wearing below) are on the cool list in Manhattan, nobody cares. It is a free-for-all city welcoming individuals to be exactly who they want to be. Yes my style may change over time and NYC may have a huge impact on my outlook on life, but you can bet on one thing to stay the same: me, myself, and I!
Enjoy!
What I’m Wearing: Forever 21 Vest, Limited Blouse, Lia Sophia Necklace, TJ Maxx Leggings, Forever 21 Boots.
