Hello from Hell’s Kitchen! I’m finally starting to think that my NYC life is coming together just how I had imagined. I must say though, nothing can fully prepare you for a life change of this magnitude. It has been every bit overwhelming but I have fully embraced the beauty of change. A BIG thanks is due in part to my friends and family who have Skyped me, texted me, and called me around the clock to check in. I promise you all that I will be a-OK!

While I finish settling into the new place I’ve decided to devote myself to figuring out my new camera. Seriously, I HAVE to figure this new guy out and soon. So be patient with me if you will as I learn the ins and outs of self-photography. Today being day two of the week, I figured I’d give the new Cannon a test run. The end result is obviously the pics above. Yes I still have room for improvement but I think I gave it a good first try. (Mom, I hope I made you proud.)
