Zoe To Speak…

I die for it, bananas, so major, killed it, shut it down…

Watch RZ’s show NOW!

The Zoe-isms are in full force considering the famous stylists turned designer just rocked the New York runway’s socks off. Rachel Zoe is definitely well-known for her hilarious catch phrases, but she’s much better known for her impeccable taste, and her eye for design when it comes to fitting a woman’s curves.

*Some of my favorite RZ pieces: Black Sequin Dress, Petra Faux Fur Coat, Bishop Sleeve Dress, Lara Tipped Shirt, Arielle Dress, Payton Platform.

Zoe’s fall 2013 collection is definitely 1970s-equestrian inspired. I mean who doesn’t love the ’70s? (And who doesn’t love Rachel?) RZ kept a polished and glamourous aesthetic that was sexy and comfortable. The color pallet was earthy, including neutral shades like caramel, cream, gold, navy, deep gray, and black. And the garments were simply gorgeous. Even the fabrics presented were effortlessly chic and lust-worthy. Zoe used a wide range of fabrics from suedes, cashmeres, mohairs, and leathers.

We saw plenty of tailored three-piece suits and structured separates, but we also saw several relaxed ensembles grace the cat walk. I personally LOVED the knee-high riding boots and easy-going leather pants. TO DIE FOR!!!!

Zoe stated this week that her collection is focused on an amazing 1970’s equestrian gal who toughens up. “She starts her day sexy and sultry and all of a sudden, she’s tough and goes dancing. It’s bought and androgynous and cool. Tons of leather and suede grommets. I’m super-proud of it.” – Rachel Zoe, New York Fashion Week 2013.
