One of my goals in 2019 is to read more. I’ve never been a big reader, but I’ve found that the older I get, the more I like to focus in on things I’m passionate about. Whether it be a cookbook, a female empowerment book, a devotional, or a book on style, I’m going to be suckered in. So I thought why not share my *Books To Read: Start of 2019*. I’m also considering making this a monthly post, offering up my suggestions for books I think you guys would like as well. Let’s get the first month started with my list of favorites below.
If you’re like me, you’ve put off Christmas shopping until the last minute. This happens every year, as soon as we return from Maui, I panic because I’m so far behind. This year I was even more behind, with my Thanksgiving decor still up on December 10th. Sometimes life just gets in the way, but no complaints here. I will finish my Christmas Shopping and do so in style. Here’s what’s going in my cart this weekend, for everyone on my list: Mom, Dad, in-laws, grandparents, siblings, hubby and pets. Enjoy!
*Thank you to ThirdLove for partnering with me to sponsor this post.
It’s time I share with you all some major TRUTH about my body. Some days I love it, some days I really don’t. Despite what you see on social media, I still have my insecurities and my relationship with my body is still a work in progress.
Halfway through college, my body drastically changed. I began to notice that my body type was shifting. In a short period of time, I went from a B-cup to a nearly a D-cup. Thank you, birth control.
Having a large chest in this point in my life made me feel really self-conscious. At first, I tried to squeeze into sports bras to hide the fact that I had developed much later than most. In true teenage girl fashion, I was under the impression that my boobs made me look “bigger” than I liked. So I continued to wear the most uncomfortable bras for years.
I now try to embrace my “curvier” top half, but I still have my days. I admit that I don’t always love what I see when I look in the mirror, but I’m working on embracing my imperfections and showing my body the love it deserves. To start, I’m saying GOODBYE to all of those horrible bras that I’ve forced myself into, and saying hello to bras that fit ME!
For months now I’ve seen ThirdLove advertised on various sites, and I would click to watch testimonies of women who found their perfect fitting bra. Recently when I spoke with a new email friend from ThirdLove, I knew I needed to just try it and see it for myself. YOU ALL, listen up. My boobs and my life are forever changed.
I woke up this morning for work, actually looking forward to putting on my 24/7™ Lace Back T-Shirt Bra. It’s so comfortable and cute and most importantly, I feel confident in it. I’m seriously excited about sharing this news with you all, because I feel so many of us struggle with this exact thing: finding the right bra. And that’s exactly why founder, Heidi Zak, created ThirdLove. She was tired of compromising comfort or style and created a bra that’s convenient, smart, and sexy.
There are many more reasons why I love ThirdLove. This brand offers a 60-second Fit Finder quiz, that recommends your perfect bra based on your size, breast shape, and preferences. They carry over 70 sizes, including half-cup sizes, so that every woman can enjoy a bra that fits her body. They also have a 60 Day Fit Guarantee, which allows customers to return their bra if they’re not completely in love. And lastly, I must say that their quality is unmatched. I don’t struggle with their straps, I don’t have visible bra lines with my clothing, I don’t feel like I am busting out of the bra when I bend over, and I simply feel like an uplifted version of myself. That’s why I love ThirdLove. There’s no other way to put it. It’s just an easy, confident choice.
