I’ve always been a fan of leopard print, especially this easy, affordable, and comfortable t-shirt. Today I’ve styled this leopard shirt with my favorite moto jacket, and black jeans. This look is incredibly easy to pull off, and each piece is super versatile. For instance, this jacket pairs perfectly over a little black dress and boots. My leopard shirt can be worn with a skirt, tights and booties, and a cardigan. These jeans are worn all the time already, so you get the idea. Easy, casual style is hard to beat.
Happy 2019 friends! Sorry for the long hiatus from posting, but I wanted to be present, and enjoy the holiday season with my loved ones. I’m planning to start the New Year with a bang, and I can’t wait to unveil some new content soon. Today I’m putting a NEW spin on an OLD piece, and showing you how to give old things new life.
This jacket is about two years old, and it’s been hiding at the back of my closet begging for some love. I decided that in the spirit of the New Year, I would get organized and try to rethink my wardrobe. I found one winner with this jacket, and I’m sure I’m on the verge of finding more.
Do you like when I repurpose old pieces? If so, let me know some items from LexWhatWear’s past that you would like to see re-styled. I’m happy to give it a try if it’s still hanging out in my closet.
I love anything with a tribal print, so it’s no wonder that I immediately fell in love with this tie neck tribal print top. For just $19, this blouse is the perfect addition to my fall, winter, and spring wardrobes. It’s super versatile and can be paired easily with a denim skirt, a black skirt, dress pants, or paper bag shorts.
On Sunday I styled this top for brunch with a few girlfriends. I must say my favorite part is the sleeve detail. It’s almost as if this top had shoulder pads, and I’m not one bit mad about it. I also love how comfortable and relaxed this blouse fits. You can dress it up or dress it down, and for UNDER $20 I’d say that’s a good purchase.
