There’s nothing easier to style than a cute, little shift dress. This affordable find is perfect for spring and summer. A look like this can easily work for your 9-5 job, or a night out on the town. I dressed things up with this super cool necklace, and my strappy, black heels. I could also throw on a pair of black flats and a denim jacket to make this work appropriate. You can pair your favorite shift dress with a blazer, a vest, or wear it as is. Regardless of how you style it, it’s a winning piece for the season. I just LOVE when I find a dress that I can get a lot of wear out of. I’ve linked my favorite shift dresses available right now, below. They are super affordable too!
Nothing sounds sweeter than blue and white stripes, with a touch of embroidery. Embroidery has been a HUGE hit this season, and I’m totally accepting it. You’ve seen me style am embroidered dress, top, sweatshirt, and jeans thus far, and I show no signs of stopping. For only $21 this staple piece will be a wardrobe favorite for the rest of spring.
Don’t be afraid to add a little embroidery into your life, too. The range of items you can purchase at an affordable price is insane. I’ve seen it all, from handbags and hats to shoes and outerwear. Below I’m sharing my go-to embroidered pieces that I think are reasonable and smart buys. This trend isn’t disappearing anytime soon, so jump on now while you can.
I have officially found the most COMFORTABLE and gorgeous dress of the season. Can you believe this floral print maxi dress is only $14? Although there isn’t much structure, the shape of this dress is perfect for every day wear. It’s so effortless, I can picture this at the beach or out on the town. It’s obviously an affordable wardrobe addition, so I think that alone makes this purchase a no-brainer. I will definitely be packing this look for our trip to Wine Country in a week or so. When you find a dress you feel good / look good in, you wear it all you want. Since I am not generally a dress girl, this is a significant and trustworthy piece in my closet.
In just a couple of weeks, Evan and I will be off to California for a little stop in San Francisco and Sonoma. Wine country is one of my favorite places to visit, because of course I love wine. I also love the city of San Fran and being a complete tourist. The countryside of Sonoma is so gorgeous, full of adventure, and uber stylish. I’ve been planning my wardrobe since February for this trip. So I thought why not share my game plan for outfits and accessories, for our upcoming trip out west. Everything on my style board is UNDER $150 and I’ve found several cute carry on items below.
