What I’m Wearing: H&M Blouse, H&M Trousers, ALDO Boots, Michael Kors Watch.

Whew! I am still trying to recover from a packed birthday / Super Bowl weekend with a couple of my best friends visiting in the big city. It honestly may take a few more days to get back to my A-game, but let me just say that I am beyond thankful for the love and encouragement received on my 25th birthday. I’m blessed to have so many people rooting for me no matter the miles and distance between us. It’s simply humbling.

This weekend was dedicated to having fun and exploring the city I now call home. I had two eager Kentucky gals here ready to take on NYC with me and we did it just right. Between Times Square, The Today Show, 9/11 Memorial, an improv show and a few little stops at breweries along the way, we found out that A. I am NO expert on this city yet, and B. we sure do now how to have a good time even with -3 degree wind chills.

Since 95 percent of our adventurous pics and photo-ops include big heavy coats and our best winter-wear, I figured I’d show y’all one of my fave outfits I put together for the weekend. I layered this look with a black leather jacket then a black and white cape to keep extra warm while walking. This outfit was wearable for daytime trips and evening dinner and drinks. Loved it!!
