Last week I was consumed with fashion, so this weekend I was 100 percent relaxation. We’ll I’m not sure you would call venturing around some NYC hot spots relaxing, but it was one of the best weekends I’ve had. Notice the insane smile I can’t seem to get rid of in pics… Jason, my amazing boyfriend flew up from the KY to visit for the very first time, along with childhood friend Kristen. Our NYC apartment was packed to the brim, but it was full of love and lots of laughter that’s for sure.

I couldn’t start the week without re-capping the amazing adventures and time spent with Jason and friends. We made our rounds through some of Manhattan’s finest locations and also threw in a little Kentucky action, despite our awful loss to Tennessee Saturday.

New favorite spot I’ve found is the Highline. The High Line is an elevated freight rail line transformed into a public park on the West Side of Manhattan. Let me just say the view is gorgeous, and there is some pretty fabulous shopping in this neck of the woods.

Now I’m off to enjoying some left-over NYC pizza and getting back to my routine after a weekend I will remember forever…
