Guest Post: Team Hope

Meet Ashley Janover;

A World Traveler, Philanthropist, Fashionista & True Inspiration

Several months ago I had the pleasure of meeting an inspirational gal who I would soon call a co-worker and friend. Although our brief stint working together at a New York fashion and talent agency came to an end, I am still taking note of the amazing and wonderful things she is embarking on. Her story is bold and beautiful, and her adventures will have you in absolute awe. I am honored to say I know this chick, and I hope that this post will spread some inspiration to you and wherever you are reading from. So without further edu, I give you Ashley Janover…

Team HOPE was created in an honor of my mother who passed away from Pancreatic cancer in 2011. We educate the public, and raise money towards the advancement of research. This fatal disease continues to be the most deadly and least funded of all cancer types. My bold goal of doubling the pancreatic cancer survival rate as well as working harder and faster to increase international awareness/research has brought recognition from the largest pancreatic cancer organizations in the nation!

What once started as a nationwide project based out of Boca Raton Florida, turned into an internationally known organization that has touched the lives of people all over the globe. After the successes Team Hope had in North America, I was then inspired to travel and increase global awareness of the universal struggles in other parts of the world. I have lived with, and mentored children throughout Europe, Middle East, South America, North America and Southeast Asia.

I had the opportunity to provide facts and statistics about pancreatic cancer in 3rd world countries to an audience of people who never even knew these types of sicknesses existed. Most importantly, I helped support local initiatives in improving the lives of children, while conserving the environment, education, health, and living conditions for the economically disadvantaged. TeamHope1
TeamHope2Team hope is so great because not only do we touch the lives of people in the pancreatic cancer community world wide, but also we provide hope, support, direction and guidance to underprivileged children, countless patients, and anyone in need of that extra boost of love. We really are more than just an advocacy organization. We are an alliance. We are an Altruistic team that focuses on the devotion of constantly delivering hope to our supporter’s everyday.
I am a benevolent philanthropist and an avid traveler. In every situation I am presented with, is an opportunity for me to explore and enjoy the beauty of this world.
