Two Words: Kate Spade… Who by-golly presented one of the most fun, energized, and inventive fashion week collections I have ever seen. Of course I knew Kate Spade Creative Director, Deborah Lloyd would bring the house down with the fall collection, but when I set my eyes on the taxi cab yellows and major manis, my jaw dropped with amazement and inspiration.
This fall collection is the second half of the 20th anniversary collection for Kate Spade and it’s all about the energy of the city and is designed for the New York party girl. It’s quirky, but let me just say it is divine…
The look was happy-chic including an abundance of big bows, bold colors, incredible graphics and amazing fabric choices. Deborah Lloyd sought out the Big Apple as her inspiration. She succeeded in bringing the sights and sounds of New York City to life via fashion.
So a BIG thanks to Kate Spade New York for inspiring this week’s Friday 5! Here’s what’s on my list this week…
1. Gimme’ The Graphics
2. Bolder Than BOLD Bows
3. Major Manis
4. Fabuloussssss Footwear
5. Power Prints On Prints
Thanks to all who have tuned in this week for NYFW coverage. It has been a fun and fashion-forward experience, and I can’t wait to see where the trends take us next.
