Weekend Style 8.30.20

This past weekend was full of lots of exciting events, especially because it was our 4th wedding anniversary on Thursday. Due to our schedules, we delayed celebrating until Saturday. I decided I should share a little *WEEKEND STYLE UPDATE* with y’all, because the outfits and vibe are worth talking about.

WEARING THE RUFFLE HEM POLKA DOT DRESS FROM SHEIN ($21)

If you follow me on Instagram (@lexwhatwear) you’ve probably already seen the following looks, but for good measure, I’m posting them here too. Thursday and Friday were both quiet nights in, drinking a little wine and celebrating with our little family. Saturday we visited with some friends before packing up and heading to Bowling Green to spend the day with Evan’s parents. That evening, my in-laws watched Mac while Evan and I went out to dinner. An actual date? Yep, it was an actual, out on the town date night, wearing masks of course.

COLORBLOCK TARTAN BLOUSE $21!

We wined and dined at Hickory & Oak in Bowling Green, and it was some of the best food I’ve had in a while. We had a nice bottle of Cab, half a dozen oysters (yum), and steaks of our choosing. We couldn’t leave without getting a side of their brussels and pom frites. Everything was so delicious, we had zero room left for dessert.

We woke up on the farm on Sunday and the guys played golf. Mom got to sleep in a little :) so that was lovely. We hung out for lunch and headed back home for a rainy photo shoot Sunday evening. After our scheduled engagement session was rained out, we came home, ate some pho and hit the sack.

All in all, it was a wonderful and stylish weekend together. I loved every minute of it with my husband and little guy. Thanks for reading (or scrolling), and CHEERS to a great week full of more stylish moments!

XO, ALEX
