YAY! It’s A Giveaway…
Last month, I attended an exciting social media conference at America’s Mart in Atlanta for my awesome job at the Keeneland Shop (www.keenelandshop.com). I was able to meet other bloggers and fellow social media addicts. Let me just say, there are a ton of us out here!
But in addition to my wonderful social media experience, I also got another great opportunity: to check out 13 floors of clothing, jewelry, accessories and much, much more at the mart. Pure shopping heaven!
As I hunted down the neatest shops and best buys during my breaks, I stumbled upon a very special spot called Golden Stella. And when I did, I had one of those “Ah ha!” moments. “My fabulous readers should have one of her necklaces,” I thought, as I practically had to tie my hands behind my back to keep from getting one of each.
So, with one very special necklace from Golden Stella, I bring you the first LexWhatWear Giveaway … the first of many to come. This necklace – the Blue Pedal Necklace – is already making its rounds at many retail stores and promises NOT to stay on the shelves long. One lucky LexWhatWear reader will get the chance to own one before that happens.

I Love this necklace! What a great statement piece. I have been trying to get into statement necklaces lately. My thing for awhile was statement earrings! I love big earrings but now the necklaces are really coming into play I need a few of those as well. I would wear this one to work constantly! I am a huge fan and read your blog everyday!! Alex – I love this giveaway! I have started to make blue a neutral lately – really goes great with so many colors.. and a statement necklace is the easiest addition (in my opinion) to take your outfit from okay to wow!

The necklace is beautiful! A statement piece like that is something every girl should own and is something that can be worn in the summer and carry into fall. Way to go for announcing a giveway so quick!
As for future giveaways, or just a blog, I would be interested in seeing more about color blocking, what you think the hot fall trends will be, and the best way to accessorize an all black outfit would be.

Alex, I absolutely love waking up and reading your posts every morning. My safari is always set on Lexwhatwear so that I can simply click my ap and read “what’s in,” while lying in bed… Guilty lol. So you can imagine how excited I was to see your first give away today. And as a bonus, the colors are absolutely gorgeous, Im pretty sure I would own everything in either a terquoise or blue if it was acceptable.
On one of the future blogs, I would love to see some of your favorite hair styles. How i wear my hair is always a big thing for me and Im always looking for something new to try. Styles ranging from casual to going out and even simple looks for class would be extremely helpful! Your a great inspiration not only to me but to your cheerleaders and to my sister as well, keep up the good work!

Obsessed with this necklace!!! I haven’t always been big into necklaces until last year! I have a hard time finding ones I really like, but my little sister does not and has too many to choose from so I always steal hers to wear!! Alex where do I begin! I love the color. I love the statement it makes. I love the bright expression of the large beads with the smaller soft beads to simplify the bold “look at me” I read when I see this. The best thing about this necklace is little to no other jewelry is required. Definatley not big earrings… Which… The next giveaway could be statement earrings. I like “one piece” jewelry. It’s good for girls like me that arnt good at putting things together. (hopefully we will learn as we follow your blog). One piece jewelry is a bold yet simple statement. Easy for the girl on the go and makes her simple or plain outfit POP!

I’m about to go to college and this necklace is the perfect accessory to dress up a plain tee or dress without trying to hard, whether going to class or a party. I am currently searching for a nice big leather satchel-type bag, so some kind of purse would be awesome for the next giveaway!
